It has been an honor to have known and supported Anne for more than 10 years. She is one of the rare people I’ve worked with in my 30+ years who is not only truly talented – from concepting to communicating, writing to design – but also tremendously passionate, dedicated and empathetic. She is a big ambitious thinker and a roll-up-your-sleeve doer. Just look at the quality and quantity of the output.

Most importantly are the outcomes. And these have been nothing short of remarkable. More than 300,000 kids have benefitted from the program she developed, with a much larger community ripple effect. It's clear that we’re living through a time when these programs that building confidence, kindness and ultimately, resilience, are needed more than ever.

Hammonasset Beach State Park

I ran a public art campaign for two summer seasons at Hammonasset Beach State Park, which hosts an average of 2.1 million annual visitors. In addition to installing a weather-proof "Gratitude Trail" of postcard messages along the beach trail, I installed a "Gratitude Door" to collect grateful graffiti each weekend over the summer months. Eventually, I relocated the door to Connecticut Valley Hospital, the largest psychiatric hospital in Connecticut, so that they could use it in their programming.

In 2015, W by Worth Clothing Line invited me to design and model a "Gratitude Scarf" so that people could wrap themselves in gratitude as they helped raise money for my nonprofit, Look for the Good Project, inc.

Marriott's Ocean Pointe

I partnered with the staff at Marriott's Ocean Pointe Resort in Florida to bring the "look for the good" message to the 18,000 families that visit their property annually. We created a resort-wide trail of glimmers of gladness and a permanent photo booth for guests to interact with.
